Plant Description: This shrub is just about bullet proof – it is a large evergreen shrub that grows pretty well anywhere. It produces masses of large white flowers for most of the year, and rarely if ever produces seed, making it safer near bushland.

Height & Width: 1.5-3m high x 1.5m wide.
Flowers: Flowers heavily in spring, with spot flowering the rest of the year. Large white flowers.
Uses: Hedge (also as a hardy shrub for just about any location, home and commercial use).
Position & Tolerances: Full sun to moderate shade. Drought and frost tolerant. Humidity tolerant. Suits coastal positions and difficult planting sites.
Soil Type: Sandy to well drained clay soils.
Best Planting Time: March to November.
Planting Density: 1-1.5 plants per linear metre (1-3 plants per m²).
Where it thrives: NSW, QLD, ACT, VIC, TAS, SA, WA and NT.
Pruning: Prune to shape every 1-2 years after flowering.
Establishment & Extra Care:
- Water as required for 8-13 weeks until established.
- Plant in a well mulched garden, a chunky mulch is recommended.
- Use slow release fertiliser in spring, if required.
